Happy Easter from the Lemons and the Livers!
Lemon Pointers: Margarita, Porter (foster pup), and Whiskey
Liver GSPs: Lager, Limoncello, and Hooch
Our pups had a blast doing an Easter egg hunt on our camper during our Easter camping trip!
When We arrived home from our camping trip, the Easter Bunny had left a little something for Margarita and foster pup Porter!
We hope everyone had a wonderful Easter Sunday!
We had fun finding our eggs in our Annual Camping Easter Egg Hunt!
We must have been super-good this year too, because the Easter Bunny left us some goodies in our Easter baskets!
To all of our friends who also celebrate Easter, we hope that the Easter Bunny was good to you!
This was Margarita’s first celebrated Easter with us, so of course we took her to meet the Easter Bunny!

The Easter Bunny was here!
Easter Basket fun and Easter Egg Hunt!
This year’s Easter camping trip was at Old Mill Stream Campground in Lancaster, PA. We had a great view, and a wonderful weekend with friends!
Our campsite (Site 125):
View from our campsite:
This campground is located at Dutch Wonderland and offers discounted tickets for the amusement park. The amusement park was closed during our Easter visit.
Old Mill Stream is also very close to many area attractions and shopping in Lancaster, PA. For those who would rather stay-put in the campground, there are lots of amenities such as:
- Two Laundromats
- Country Store – selling a limited selection of groceries, sundries and camping supplies including ice, wood and propane.
- Two dump stations
- Free Wi-Fi
- Game Room
- Half-Court Basketball
- GaGa Ball Pit
Unfortunately, Rita had to stay with a friend for this trip since she had just gone into heat, and Hooch is still intact. However, we still made sure the Easter Bunny took care of Rita in our absence!
The Easter Bunny always leaves great treats for the pups in the camper:
The Easter Bunny left his gifts on the couch of the camper.
Every Easter camping trip, we let the pups have an Easter egg hunt in the camper:

When we were able to pick up Rita, we gave her the rest of her Easter Bunny goodies:
Happy Easter 2016!
This Easter we camped with friends at one of our favorite campgrounds – Frontier Town Campground, in Berlin, MD.
We LOVED our campsite here!
We first discovered Frontier Town Campground when we attended a dock diving competition held right in the campground! We camped here for the dock diving competition as well.
Here is the view from our site:
The water views around the campground are gorgeous!
This was Hooch’s first-ever Easter! It was exciting to make his basket for the first time!
Cello’s Easter basket:
Easter morning – the Easter Bunny has arrived to the 5th Wheel with toys and treats!
Cello and Hooch had a great time opening their Easter baskets with the help of their Pop!
After Cello and Hooch opened their Easter baskets, they had an Easter egg hunt in the 5th Wheel! …see if you can find all the “hidden” eggs!
Yay! Hooch found his first bacon-filled Easter egg!
After each egg is found, the pup who found the egg gets the bacon inside of the egg – Hooch thought this was LOTS of fun, and waited patiently for his bacon reward!
Hooch enjoyed all his Easter treats and toys – and, of course, stole Cello’s bunny toy!
Overall, we had a great trip, and Hooch enjoyed his first-ever Easter!
Brian, Cello, and I spent Easter weekend camping in Staunton, Virginia.
On Easter morning, Cello woke up to her basket and huge bunny left for her from the Easter Bunny!
Cello’s Easter Basket:
Cello’s Easter gifts waiting for her on Easter morning in our camper:
Cello was happy to see that the Easter Bunny did not pass her by in her camper
Cello even had her own egg hunt! Each egg was filled with treats!
Lamb Chop was even hiding an egg!
Found another one in the toy basket!
Brian helped Cello get the treat in each egg as she found them:
After the Easter festivities in our camper, we took a ride onto Skyline Drive. Even though we had been on Skyline Drive before, we had never been this far south on it, and we can’t ever get tired of seeing these views!
After our scenic drive on Skyline Drive, we visited Veritas Vineyard , and then stopped at Byers Street Bistro for some fried green tomatoes!
We had a great Easter Day, and a wonderful Easter weekend trip to Virginia! Hope you all enjoyed your Holiday!
Our Easter destination with friends Jerry, Russ, and their dog Dixie, was to Ocean Lakes Campground. Ocean Lakes was quite the experience! It was like it’s own little city – over 2,000 sites, on 310 acres! It was HUGE! And everyone there had golf carts – it was quite the experience! Cello got to walk on the beach each morning, and we took day trips to Conway, Georgetown (lots of dog friendly bars/restaurants!), and Murrells Inlet. We ate Easter dinner in our trailer – Jerry made lasagna roll-ups, and I made meatballs, sausage, and gravy. What a great time we had!
